Heres a link to some of the shots from the boatyard and before the motor was hung. The boat does not have trimtabs at this time, the wireing harness for Bennett tabs is run to the transom. The Fuel tank was replaced with a new aluminum one at the time of the refit.
I have has some offers thank you for the interest. web page |

The boat has been sold and will be heading North in a few days.
Thank you everyone for the interest. For future sellers I only listed the boat for sale here and was in contact with the buyer within 2 weeks of listing. Thank you Classic Seacraft.com,both for the sale but more importantly the lively community that you are. It has been a true pleasure to chat with you guys and the meet and greet at Chuck's was a great time. The boat is going to be in good hands and I will check in now and again to see how everyone is coming along. Thanks Donnie |

Donnie's boat is heading to Cape Cod, and will split time between Wellfleet and Harwich (on a trailer). Prob see a lot of the Truro/Chatham ramps. Thanks to Donnie for taking care of a CSC he has had in his family since 1989, and for working with me over a 2 month process-survey, getting down there, chats, paperwork, taking care of the motor with a new alternator, trading the trailer in to someone local, getting the trailer fit, and now the shipping it north last step. Could not ask for a better gentleman to do business with. Many phone calls, emails, and much time. Thanks again.
If you ever make it North to Cape Cod look me up Donnie for a ride and some fishing! I will update the CSC site with some pics, and be using that search button heevy. First thing is Bennet trim tab mounting under a bracket ![]() -Josh

Donnie has the 12x12 bennets, wired to console, but not on..took them off for the restoration and with a bracket in place the cylinders do not fit. its a well discussed topic i see
![]() -move to inner strake not ideal but see some have done on site -outer strake and call bennett about a shorter cylinder they make 2 lengths, maybe can make custom shorter -outer strake and cut hole in bracket -toss aside and go volvo ql system I am not gonna remove the bracket if that is entailed in cutting a hole. Probably call Bennett first with a measurement and take it from there.

Looks like your patience paid off. Great looking boat. That running shot from behind is a great example of a SeaCraft hull up on plane running at max efficiency. Great pics. Congrats, Josh. Wellfleet is now Betterfleet

Hey Guys am gonna stop posting here and will open a thread elsewhere...or just PM me. The prop is a 17P mirage plus and Donnie had some work done to it. I might consider a 4 blade rev 4 and see if can move the engine up a bit, and for lower speed planing in waves, but it really is pretty dialed in by Donnie.
The tab parts are on their way from Donnie...that project is gonna kick off prob next week.
