Default Increase Fuel Capacity

I fished offshore all weekend in my 23' SeaCraft. When filling the tanks on Friday evening after a nice trip I only had 16 gallons of fuel left. I started the day with 135 gallons. Does anyone have a suggestion for increasing my fuel capacity? I am currently looking at fuel bladders to store 40 +/- gallons on the deck on the way out. I would love to turn the in-deck livewell behind the leaning post into a fuel tank. Has anyone done this? Is there a bladder system that I could put in the livewell?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Default Re: Increase Fuel Capacity

Hi Bendlure;

I never needed one but I kind of like those bladders myself. I have a 120 gal tank and get approx 2.25 MPG on a single 225 Yamaha. That gives me 200 miles plus approx 25% reserve in the tank.
