Default 1976 20' seacraft transom

This is my first post on this website, I have found alot of topics and great fixes from this site so I decided to join.

I have a 1976 20' seacraft center console. I have to say the boat is great other than the low transom. I saw a 1978 18' seacraft with what looked like an add on to the inside of the boat (forgive me if i am not explaining it correctly), the piece was molded so the motor did not hit when it was up but it was the full height of the inside of the back of the boat. The guy said it also acted as a muffler for the engine noise inside the boat.

Does anyone know where I can buy this?

Another question, does anyone know where to find the seacraft sticker for the back of the boat? The original has a black and blue swirl and the only one I can find is all one color.

Thank you

I think this is what you're talking about. If so . . . any fiberglass shop can make you one very very easily. If you have any skill with fiberglass just make a mold for the shape using MDF, wax and layup.

I've got that lower section sitting in my yard. Its off my 18. Don't know if it fits your 20 but its yours if you want it.

That is the piece and all I would really want is the lower section to keep the water from coming over the back.
