That's why I drive a Ford... '02 F250 diesel crew, 180K so far, expecting 500K or more.
 My wife's '95 4Runner 3.0L had a main bearing failure at 103K. New motor was $4K  OTOH, my last Ford (an '85 Bronco) had 314K on it when I sold it in '02, still running strong, not burning oil. Then I bought a '95 Jeep G. Cherokee in '02 w/ 140K. Traded it in on the F250 in Dec '05 with 248K on it. Only the second daily-driver truck in my life that I didn't reach 250K miles with.
