Default Opinion on SeaShepard guy's toy and the whalers

I'm not gonna get up on some big soapbox here about this. I can tell you self policing and using common sense seems to lend itself well to most things in life. But I could be wrong, oh well. I do know you wouldn't catch me playing chicken and bumper boats in the Antarctic with all that fun ice around but that's just my preference. This just seems like this whole SeaShepard thing and both sides new level of commitment towards there goal is going to end with the loss of numerous human lives. Btw it seems like both boat and ship were going towards one another but the water shooting out the back of the SeaShepard seems to make it really lerch forward...wouldn't the rules of tonage apply at that point?...I dunno the ocean can really challange you in every way without tempting fate, you wouldn't catch me down there.

That is the funniest show on TV. Before I die I just have to shoot that harpoon! I agree with that whaling should end, but could not agree less with the Sea Shepard's tactics. Paul Watson is as much a captain as "Capt'n Crunch" is. No captain (much less any person) would put his crew in the danger the way Watson does. I find myself rooting for the Whalers.

It's amazing no one has been shot during their high seas boardings...if someone tried to board something I was running I would take it as my crew and vessel were in danger. From common sense point of view all it would take would be a nice heave over the railing and you might be dead from the water if they don't fish you out in time. The whole time Mr. Watson would be on the bridge of the mothership playing chess with niave passionate members of his little egotistical army.

I'm all for protecting whales and dolphins, and I have no use for the Japanese that are inflicting such damage to whales and other protected species, but I have zero respect for this so called captain and his bunch of loons that follow him.
These are the same type of nuts that would try and stop our recreational fishing in large parts of the ocean.I don't trust any of them.
If some terrible occurrence happens to them, they have no one to blame but themselves and the idiot captain that they worship and blindly follow.

However I did see Bo Derek on tv last night talking about the whales and how she is against the killing of them.Hmm,I think if she was the captain,I could be talked into volunteering for duty.

Just watch the latest episode of SOUTH PARK that deals with the whaling issue "Whale Whores", it's hilarious and carries a message as well.
