It has also been posted here, look through the old for sale posts, there's a lot of info on this boat. I looked it over myself, and thought about it pretty seriously. For sure needs a new floor, probably gas tanks, hoses & wiring, cuddy cabin hatch & doors, and lots of cosmetic attention. I've always loved the Savage model, and if you're up for a project this could be a good foundation.

A project, o-no, I just gave up on a project, 1978 Seavette, which after close inspection, needed way more than this boat seems to,
how far back should I look, for original postings on this boat.

Tanks are fine. What you see in the pictures is the a epoxy coating the previous owner put on, chipping off. I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that it needs tanks only seeing them in photos. Everything electrical is in working condition on the boat. The fuel lines could be replaced, but do not leak. There is TLC needed, but the Hull, stringers and transom are solid and dry. new pictures are on craigslist.com south florida

Sorry, didn't mean to be overly critical, just ticking off what I put down on the list when I inspected your boat in Stuart. There's a lot to like about the boat, good luck.
