Thanks Denny, Catalina will be on the agenda... Lots of work ahead.

Capt Chuck, If you have any low budget Gucci ideas I'm all ears...

Yeah Strick, the last e-mails I swapped with the guy was in July, I was getting sick of seeing it - it seemed to de-valuate this addiction...when you mentioned you were heading south I thought it was for this rather than a 2nd Seafari...

Lew just cause its legal doesn't make it ok

Terry, this boat was never even on my list, but I haven't found a Moesly 15 or 21 so when I saw this 100 miles away I said "Damn the torpedoes" and told the guy I'd buy it if he'd deliver it... I can't pull it with my T100 and sure as hell can't stop it.

Sandy, power is twin 1983 2.4L Merc 200s with large ports (what are large ports and their benefit)and WH15 carbs 21 p Lazer II props. I think the carbs are for V225hp but I don't know much.

Seller claimed 68 mph...faster than I care to go...

McGilli2cuddys...Nice job

We've never officially named our Seafari however have always affectionately called her BIG BLUE or THE SEACRAFT. I've always liked the name CLASSIC IN SESSION but afterwards saw that it was close to your THERAPY IN SESSION. I shall pass on the name to you and think it would be a great name for Mommys new toy

It's yours if you want it. I'm not going to use it. One side of me thinks it would bring bad luck to name her now, after all these years and I seem to be having very good luck with her so...I'm going with no name for now.

Enviously
Brandon

Gillie - that boat was a steal. I am glad you got it!! Strick sent me pics of those engines a while back and they are either 82 200's or 81 225's. 83 had fingerports and has a totally different head design. These motors are strong and a lot of fun on a 20 seacraft.

I'm planning on using just one of the engines on my 23 with a 2:1 ratio lower. Let me know if you need a starter or 2.
