Default check out or new casa

Good friend of mine just aquired a permit with a cabin on it, in the bay. Hurricane Ike took it's toll on it but with a little blood, sweat and tears and a few dead or relocated "critters" it should be fine. It looks very rough right now and needless to say we were tiptoeing through it, butit appears to be strucually sound after we get it leaning the right way again. And yes that is a pistol on his hip and yes we had to use it.

Sweet!
Love the real western gunslinger act, too. Dude needs to change his hat,, but I ain't gonna be the one to suggest it...
Drawin' on critters or squatters?

Where is this location?
Very cool good luck with the restoration.

Yeah we made fun of him "strapping it on" until we needed it. I know it is not real politically correct anymore but i don't like snakes.
The "house" is located north of Galveston West Bay on a pristine location called Chocolate Bayou, named for it's crystal clear waters.
It should provide hours of enjoyment and once inhabitated the kiddo's should have a blast also. It is only minutes from the launch so hauling materials shouldn't be that bad.

We're getting closer. This is why there are no pics of the boat lately.

I wish the pylons weren't racked over, it never looks straight when you look at it from this angle.

Will hopefully be done by July 4th. If the water isn't blown out of the bay we are going to get all the trash hauled off this weekend.
