i dont see any hole in the block. when i said "hole" i meant the cylinder. im hoping it just needs to be bored over and have new pistons and rings.

Evan,
It seems very strange to me that a piston can go thru a cycle and not put say 30 or 20 on a dial. If it`s the no 1 maybe a crank shear? Not trying to be doom n gloom here. |

i know. maybe i need to inspect the head a little better. maybe head gasket is destroyed? im still hoping nothing serious because all the pistons move.

Ok that was a dumb thought. If all the slugs are moving how do you get no comp. #?

I feel the comp # should register if you have any crank # if not sheared.
I`ll be pulling my PH next week and let you know how things go. I love twisting and learning. Cheers and let me know if I can help, GFS |

Even with no rings you would still get something on the dial. I paid $300 / $50 per hole 4 years ago. Went 20 over. I put about $2000 in it including bearings.
