Hey Evan,
My wife picked this blue out...not the right shade for me..but I too love the Blues/Blacks color combo!!!

Regarding painting lessons...I had a great 2 hour class meeting this evening with Capt Chuck (thanks for your time Capt.)and have decided to go with Signature Paint for all . The Pettit just doesn't cut it for what I want to accomplish (very soft paint!!). SOOO starting over ...back to sanding and a ton of prep work...going to stick with some shade of blue though for hull sides..and a blue close enough that my wife won't say "what happened to my blue..blah blah blah etc. etc...!!!"
