Yours look like they're big enough to mount a pedestal seat on the front and still have room to sit on the back of the box itself. Is that something like what you were thinking?

Yes they will be like the 80's sceptre seat boxes with pedestal seat in the front. There will be a cushion facing aft on both seat boxes. I will be filling in part of the step down at the helm and passenger side because 3 inches of the seat boxes will overhang that area. There will still be a step down in front of the cabin door.
