I've seen the pop up cleats, actually just purchased three for my boat for a lot cheaper than the ones on ebay, I'll let you guys know if they are decent quality when they arrive. What I'm looking for is if he has pop up chocks, just never seen them if they actually are chocks.

I considered the pull-up type "chocks" on the bow of my 23' when I installed the other flush mount hardware.

Because of the curve of the hull, they would have had to been mounted several inches in from the edge to give enough clearance underneath for the internal mechanism. This rendered them ineffective as a chock and frankly would had looked hideous

I stuck with the flush mounted Nav Light, single pull-up cleat. The chafing rails have been bent horizonaly to match the same bow radius curve.

i think im going to go with the same set up on my 23. might just use regular chocks instead of those rails.

The fiberglass work was done by Jerry Adams, he did a fantastic job, he used to sell them back in the 70's and wanted to make sure it was kept original as possible. He even cut out the footrest and reglassed it in.

Thanks...Yes they are pop up chocks, I forgot who made, I can find the receipt if you still need it...
