Looks great!
When I finish painting my deck,the console is next.
I was thinking of wood but the starboard looks good.

SeaPlusPlus, If you'd rather teak it, I have that piece for you, its from a 18. Not sure if how much wider your console is?

Thanks for the offer makade, probably pass though, I still have the piece for mine, and could probably be cleaned up, but I think I'm gonna go with starboard.

Well I'm done for now. It could really use one or two more coats to make it lay perfect, but thats the beauty of varnish, just scuff it down with a white scotchbrite, then alcohol in 6 months and add an extra coat or two. All said and done I put 8 coats on, sanded with 220 and wiped with alcohol in between every coat. Then on the 8th coat I sanded half of it back off to level everything out more and did 3 more final coats that were sanded and wiped .
