on the solinoid you can jump across the big terminals to check it it is the solinoid - stick with Merc's though my NAPA -Sierra went out again in a year

well got the steering to turn left and right. the preesure gauge on top of the hydraulic tank has failed. it reads 20psi when there is none in it . put the pressure up to 25( found label on back side of can) and it works.

now on to the trim and tilt,i have a weak battery so i switched the one out of my other truck just to test it,now it goes up and down no problem. but i have lost my trim up button on f/r shifter. i can still raise the motor from the trailer button on the dash. will start ohming wires and switches to se what has failed. thanks for all the help
