After Moving Way up North (Melbourne,Fl) I had 50 Gal. of gas for about 2+ years. It had Oil, Additive etc mixed. It burned, smelled good (No Varnish) etc.Couldn't find a way or Place to get rid of it.. Placed a ad on Craigslist & explained everything, Fellow showed up w/ containers for Half next few days came & got the Rest. He said the size of His Tank Mixed He didn't care.. Easiest I've found Just let em' Know it is Old. (Was Not Ethanol). Good Luck!

I used up some 2 year old gas in my ole Dodge truck.
Dumped 6 gallons at time in when I would go to fill up..
It even had TCW 2 or 3 in it...
Trucks valves had never been cleaner!
This was many years ago when the truck had 50,000
miles on it. Today she has 285,000 and still going strong.

See ya, Ken

WWP2, if I were u, I'd invest in a cheap electric fuel pump...pump it out and run 5-6 gallons in my truck...thats what I normally do with old fuel.....mixing it with a fresh tank. If you dont want to do that...I'll run up that way sometime and pump it out and burn it for ya! Let me know what you think.

Previous to my restoration,my Tsunami sat in a field for six years with about 45 gallons of gas in the tank
We siphoned it out and guys at work put it in their pickup trucks and tractors.
None of them had any problems with it.They were more than happy to get free gasoline.
I,on the other hand didn't dare try it.I was just happy to get rid of it.

I'm the poster to this thread originally .An update , I drained the gas and it looked and smelled just like some fresh gas that I had. I mixed about 10 gals in my truck tank with 7 gals of gas already in the truck .What a F - up
The truck cranked and drove for about 2 mins . It spits , jumps ,coughs and every other noise you can think of.It will not continue to run when you put it in gear .I am an Idiot , my wife laughs at me , This really sucks

Bummer! How many more gallons will your tank hold? Maybe change your inline fuel filter a time or 2 (I assume truck has one) Then either drain the tank or top it off with high octane or pour in some octane booster). Hopefully the sediment in the old gas just clogged up the little filter and it clears up some by changing the filter.

10:7 bad gasoline ratio was maybe a little extreme...hope it gets right for you. Good luck.

Yeah, did the same thing when I was a teenager with my car. But I had 300 gallons of 4 year-old gas out of my grandfather's Rybovich. Here's what my grandfather had me do: I went out and purchased a gallon of pure grain rubbing alcohol and a quart of naptha, and mix them into a 5 gallon jerry can with fresh gas, then pour that into the tank of my '66 Olds 442. I pulled the carb and cleaned it out with Gumout, then back-flushed the fuel lines with Gumout. Then I installed a Mercruiser water-separating fuel filter on the firewall, and ran the fuel line through it. I then mixed ten gallons of grain alcohol and 2 gallons of naptha into the remaining 280 gallons of gas.

My grandfather said he learned that trick back in the early days of WWII when the gas being distributed to civilians in the Keys was often the old military stock-piled stuff, which the Navy got rid of in favor of the new higher-octane gas. JFTR, I burned the rest of that old gas without a hiccup afterwards. (Of course, 97% pure grain alcohol - that's ethanol based, not isopropyl which may be methanol - could be purchased from the Rite-Aid drugstore back then for only 70 cents a gallon)
