Transom is at a 13 degree angle, 3 layers of 1/2" marine ply (Meranti 1088)laminated with thickened epoxy, two layers of 6 oz biax on the outside, 1 on the inside. There are also plenty of overlaps at seams and corners from taping the hull together with 6oz biax.

I would like to use a 115, but the used market is loaded with low hour 150's. I don't plan to get a motor until spring, I hope to be ready by then. I am about to make another supply order, so I was going to add on materials needed for a bracket.

The 115 will work fine. I have plans if you want them. You will need to be able to sew carbon fiber.

Doesn't it take a special machine to sew Carbon Fiber? I was hoping something a little more simple, but I do have a family member that builds prototypes and one offs for an engineering firm, lots of CNC work mostly, but I think I saw a huge machine with lots of carbon fiber laying on it, possible a sewing machine. (I was taking advantage of the CNC....)

I am looking in the used market, and I probably can get a used turn key boat for cheaper than what I am spending on materials for this one, its not always about the money, but if I find a good deal on a used one, I will most certainly buy it.
