A dear friend of mine has a '76 20' Seafari with the original Bennett Tabs and a 120 hp Evinrude. He can stay on plane at 12 mph. My 20' Seafari does not have tabs. I fall off plane at about 18 mph.

Sounds good to me. I was specifically told that they'd do little for the ride other than keep the boat on an even keel. I'll end up getting Bennett tabs for this boat. But if the 4 blade works well enough for now, I'll hold off 'til next season. Paul
