Default seacraft 23 -front bulkhead cain area

can the forward most bulkhead located in the cabin be removed without removing the top cap of the boat? I have a small amount of wetness in the wood at the bottom of the bulkhead. I want to remove if possible the entire bulkhead and replace with new.

It's removable if it's like the one in the Seafari, which has a vertical step forward of the bunks, behind the bulkhead. The step goes up to a shelf in the anchor locker. There are 4 screws through bulkhead into that step.
