Just buff it with tigercut. Then work your way down the line.

I have a Harbor Freight air powered orbital wet sander that makes the process VERY easy.

If you are wet sanding your arm off, you are not coarse enough. If you start out with 1500 you will be at it for a while......

I'm tellin' ya, you won't have half the work if you get some poly glow. A friend of mine with a Wellcraft Coastal 29 had oxidization so bad he thought he was going to have to paint. He couldn't find any sandpaper finer than 600. He sanded off the oxidization and was sure he'd ruined the finish. 5 or 6 coats of Poly Glow and it looked like a new boat. No buffing, just a sponge applicator that comes with the kit. One kit will do your boat twice with enough coats to make it shine like new from an 800 grit wet sand finish. I ain't sellin the stuff, just a very satisfied customer. Dave

I don't have the HFT part number handy. As for the paper, I buy the grit desired and cut it to size. Then take a used up pad (no wet sand) from other projects and spray glue the wet paper to the old pad. I cut out some of the holes and sand away.

Walmart has a dual action random orbital, about the same price as HFT.It will give you better results than a random orbital, and it is faster. Additionally I trashed 2 of the harbor frieght in surprisingly very short order. I am a fan of HFT and have many of thier tools.
