Looks like most '87 era boats.
For some reason, there were a lot of hull/stringer disconnects in these years. Clean it up good, and use epoxy to stich the stringers back to the hull. Check the gas tank platform, mine was wet and weighed over 150 pounds. |

That`s brutal. I had a slight delam on my port stringer. Top layer only 3"x15". Might wanna use woven over the 1708.

Well that stringer repair should be a realtivly easy fix.... I'll try to come by this weekend if your working on it and give you a hand. My mother is coming into town tomorrow to see the baby so, not sure what the women have on the agenda! Let me know what your doing..

how do you think id go about fixin that? i was thinking of digging all the foam out and refilling it and letting it expand out the side and form the foam so i have something to lay the glass against. starting with 3/4oz chopped strand and work my way up to bigger glass.

I would really consider using epoxy instead of glass to repair that stringer and reconnect it. Glass will only give you a mechanical bond, where epoxy will give you both a mechanical and chemical bond. Also, this time of year, it will give you a longer working time.
