Default Re: 18 SeaCraft engine height

Yeah, that 6 pounds has been biting me, Thanks Bigs. I already tried the two battery move to the console but he's fighting me more than his %!&$. Now the 46 pounds rear the ugly head! All to boot, after hanging the new engine today, 4th hole from top (out of five!) and still comfortably using the 'universal slot', A/V plate is barely one inch above keel! AAAAArgh! That's a lot of drag AND a lot of draft! Almost pulled the 24 # manual jack plate off my project BW 15 project just to fine tune. Another 5.5" setback. NOT! Part II.

Oh! And Plug and Play is GREAT! Isn't it? Thanks guys for the help.
