Default Re: Second Bahamas trip

There is a story behind the name, of course.

Years ago, we were anchored in a cove off the middle of Guana Cay in Abaco, long before Nippers existed. There was one other boat in the anchorage, a 45 ft Hatteras Sports fish. The boat wasn't nearly new, but it stood out, because it looked great. It had the patina of a boat that is used a lot, is much loved and maintained to perfection. In the cockpit was an old, white haired guy, obviously in good shape, who was puttering around, doing little jobs, straightening stuff, etc. It was clear that he was the owner/captain and the boat was his joy. The name of the stern was "Someday Came."

Sure looked like that day had come for him and I feel the same way.

Name's not on the stern yet, but will be soon.

Connor
