Most of the boat builders in FL are shutdown or on life support. Many of them, like SeaCraft/Mako moved to the Carolinas, and with the economy in the tank down here, there are not many boats being made. I am not sure this industry is ever coming back to what it was 5 years ago.

SeaCraft has been through many changes and owners. My guess at some point someone will pick up the name and carry on. I would bet some crazy guy over in Edgwater will start production along with restoration .
