Default 1972 23' cc project

picked it up back in october and started to rip it apart the following day,its getting a full transom with a bracket and a suzuki 4stroke along with a custom doghouse for the cape waters, the floor and stringers are solid, she needs paint and a little work on the cap, the vents will also be filled in to give it that smooth clean look. any input on the rebuild would be great.any help with adding pics would be great to.

First off, welcome to CSC....
DO NOT FILL IN THE VENTS!!!!
The inner hull cannot breath without them!

well i've already got the 2 rear vents filled and faired so i gotta go ahead and continue with the fronts. they looked like they were just solid boxes to begin with anyways. yea that is the plan as of now, I like the open feeling in the boat and it kinda makes it look a little bit bigger on the inside as well.

Welcome to CSC Willy

Since you have posted your project start pictures, I'm going to move the thread to the "Repairs Section"

BTW: As Nobones ponited out, those VENTS have saved many a decks from rotting out
