deck was layed up on a table. cored with alternating layers of glass and 1/4 marine ply. So it is totaly encapsilated and much lighter than the original.

Honestly I am not sure what type glass it is. I will ask the shop exactly what the schedule was and let you know. I belive there is 2 or maybe 3 layers of the 1/4". Very Strong/light. I am extremly happy with the way he did it!
