Default Re: vinyl boot stripe

Try a local sign shop.I had a buddy in the sign business do my lettering which looks great and has held up very well.As for the striping,There are several online vinyl striping co's that you can order from.
Make sure that you tell them you want it for a boat, and need superior adhesive.

I bought some striping for my boot stripe online and applied it to a perfectly smooth hull that I had painted with two part urethane(same as Imron).
It sat for three weeks before it saw water. One day I walked down to the dock to see the 1st 10' of the port stripe trailing behind the boat.
It had to be the adhesive,as the boat was painted six months earlier, and had never been in the water.

I removed the vinyl stripe and am going to replace it with a painted on stripe.
