Anyone got suggestions? Also, if I do 3 boats at once instead of just one, is there a discount?
Thanks. -- best, Ken |

I would think they should cut some slack. Also offer to do it yourself, from taking on/off tralier to doing the blasting yourself. Bring all safety gear and just use their machine and media.

Try these guy's, (Cape Cod Truck in Orleans) http://capecodtruck.com/ I had them do my 27. even the sides !!! They came to my house and did not make a mess, I think it is cheaper if you bring the boat there. I would not hesitate on the bottom, if the sides of your boats are in good shape, I may not do it. They are very good. I used to have a contact there, but I don't remember his name. Maybe search my old posts if I mentioned it before.

How did it work on the sides?
I'm planning on stripping my bottom paint, but would also like to repaint the hull sides. Some of my gelcoat is ok, & other parts have some crazing/cracking. I was wondering if I had a sand/soda blaster do the bottom, what they could also do on the sides vs grinding it down. I've heard good things about these guys out of Portsmouth RI, and they are mobile. Would prob. help that you have more than 1 boat to be done. http://oceansidesodablastservices.we...m/aboutus.aspx |
