Just a heads up, there is a 9X12 hatch that might fit instead of your pie plate on the corner bulkhead. You can mount a fuel filter housing to it, so that it will open up and swing into the boat for easy changing.

Now thats a great idea. Did not think of that. Originally I was mounting it in the bilge. I had bought a stainless mount for that reason. I am going to have to rethink it now. Thanks.
