Default Outboard Shaft Length

I am repowering my 1985 23' Superfisherman Center Console with a new Yamaha Offshore F250. It is available in 25" and 30" shaft lengths. Am I correct that the 25" shaft is the right one for this boat? Thanks. jffjr@comcast.net

Most likely it's a 25" but take a measurement from the top of the transom to the keel to be sure.

i have a 86 that is set up for twin 25" motors if i switch to a single i would need a 30" so there isn't an answer without measuring it!
