Going with the white plastic and stainless insert, its over in the mulch bed just past the boat. I need an extra pair of hands to put it on easily so its been left off for a while.

The motor is the one off my old boat, 225 evinrude I need to make it run first and see if its going to last for any length of time. It is a 25in shaft the plan is to buy the extension to make it a 30 if it turns out to be OK. If not, I will repower and I have only lost the time to mount it up and check it out.

Eyes I will definitely. This week is pretty packed with work, but I am hoping to get some stuff done in the evenings after it cools down a bit.

Well, big milestone, IT FLOATS! Dropped it in the pond at high tide this evening, scuppers are 2+in above the water, outter most chine is about 1in ABOVE the water.

No water in the bilge, all the fittings, bolts, and thru hulls are tight. The boat has no fuel in it (-725 lb) but all the major pieces are on it. Top is not completely bolted down so I have it strapped down for trailer ride over there.
