Well was almost going to go with an Armstrong bracket... but after reading many threads on this forum, decided to give Hermco a call. Luckily enough he said he has a bracket made for my boat sittin in his shop with a 24" setback and is waiting for a jackplate for it, maybe it's a sign??!! Soooo think I am going to go with this option as price wise the bracket itself is almost the same as the Armstrong one, however is all glass instead of aluminum so don't have to worry about corrosion, and I think the jackplate will be a sweet addition and will bring total setback to 30" which sounds standard!
