I am getting bigshrimpin's numbers. 17 degrees at the transom, measuring the planes on the bottom. Plus a 4 " wide flat at the keel and 1-3/4" steps. As best as I can tell with a far too small protractor

Yeah, I was testing the search function

Actually, I was trying to replicate the deadrise numbers. Looks like the 20 footers aren't as steep as the patent indicates. I can't get a first panel of 22 degrees. Probably the patent numbers are for larger boats.
