Seems alittle high. Trailer would have to be in really good shape too.

I saw a 72' sf with a raised transom, looked really nice just needed the engine and electronics you wanted for 2400 in WPB.

Seems high to me as well. You're going to be dumping so much money into it, you need to start with something close to free to feel at all good about it. Although, in the end, what's the difference between 28,200 and 25,000? About 10%.
Just a quick look revealed another project 23' listed in the Long Island Craigslist for $500. |

i have been watching a 23 (80's) for years in kitty hawk nc , house is a rental and can never catch anybody there , i will try harder to find out something about it. It has not moved in 10 yrs . will post if i find anything out. As far as the price on the one for 3200 i agree that is a lot of money for what it is, but it really just comes down to how bad you want it . Good luck

first,think about the transportation -
that's the first hurdle - you're talking about transporting a boat,on a trailer that appears to be questionable, approx 1,000 miles - gas,and tolls, you're probably looking at $700,just in that cost.i wouldn't count on a description of the condition of the trailer,by anyone - that's a cat in the bag, till you get there, and physically see it...that's the first part... boat - it looks like it's been hacked up - basically,it's a shell, meaning, you're gonna need one of everything...you're looking at a considerible expense, considerible,in just materials alone granted, when all is done, you will know what was done, how it was done, and you did what you wanted...but,in this market, with the price of a ready to fish rig,you could purchase a ready to fish boat, for less than half of what you're gonna spend on getting that rig,in "fishable" condition... food for thought ... here's one listed on this site : http://www.classicseacraft.com/commu...ad.php?t=22502 $16,500 , asking price... think about it like this,$16,500 - the boat has decent power, electronics.basically, you're looking at a ready to run product... compare that to the project in miami - look at it realistically - electronics and a t-top is gonna run approx $7,000 - good t - top with a fiberglass hard top, electronics - radar, sonar, gps and a vhf - that's just that portion...add power, steering, guages, controls, fuel system, electrical system - remember, you're gona need everything as far as electrical system is concerned - how much are all these things gonna run ? notice,we haven't even mentioned the amount of glass and finsh work required - see where this is going ? i'm not trying to "talk" anyone out of anything, but, going into something like this, you have to think with your head, and your check book....
