I had twin 200 EFI's on my 72 seacraft and just replaced them with a 250 4 stroke. I have enough power, but I cruise at 25 kts burning about 2.2 GPH. Also I have a bracket. my $.02 is that it seems a little on the low side for power, and I would be surprised if you got 2 mpg. Those mercs loved their fuel. At the same time the 89 make is much lighter than my 72, so who knows. Either way, I also had a mako before this thing, and it is night and day. The seacraft is a much bigger and much more confortable boat. I had a 224, which feels like it was 4 feet shorter than my 23 seacraft, and people rant and rave about the ride of the 224, but I'll tell you it can't even be mentioned in the same sentence as the seacraft.
