My Vessel name came from Looking down on my Bank statement every month After I got Laid off FROM A REALLLLYYYY great Occupation and Started Commercial Fishing In south FLa. Invested in Boats <sold them kept my seacraft> INvested in permits LOL Kept them But their are some days wen I am So Embarrassed That I Fish for a living ROFLMAO <Spending Money on fuel and time on water and not catching anything> <TOmtates Grunts Everything undersized LOL Sharks eating everything I hook into.
Reality set in Quick. LOL Hence the Vessel Name Death From Above Always looking down at sea wen I work Hoping to Make some money off ocean floor. Not too Mention Blowing powerheads, leaking gas tanks, breaking battery holders loose n bouncin batteries around n ruining them, Rubrails coming off from docking everyday, monthly bow light repair, TRAILOR REPAIR Funny Thing is I do daily Maintenance. People I take out sometimes Loose my Rods<electric reels> And do not say anything until they are out of sight underwater. Last edited by Deathfromabove; 05-14-2012 at 10:11 PM. Reason: Had toooo |

Back in '73 when my father bought his first boat (a 21 foot Winner) and I was 12, he named the boat after his three kids Billy, Ann, & John, BANJO. Sure liked having my name associated with his second boat way better than the Winner. In '75 he bought his first real boat, the 23 ft Scepter that I own today, the Banjo 2. Three engines and one transom later, she's still out there, and still getting compliments on her looks and ride.

Way back in 1975 I purchased a 1962 Feather Craft
which I named "Chiquita"... cause I painted it yellow!! ![]() In 1982 I purchased a 1964 16' LoneStar for $250 at an out of the way marina in Deland, FL. This was going to be my second flats boat conversion.. A close friend and I were on our way to go Snook fishing several weeks after the conversion had started, while driving down the road I stated my plans for the new addition, he made the comment "No Bones about-it", It will be a hot little boat when done!! ![]() ![]() The little old tin can is still going today and living an easy life in the barn with the SeaCraft's... ![]() Then in 1984 I purchased the 20SF as a project boat... Having been a member of the Halifax Sport Fishing Club, The Greater Daytona Beach Striking Fish Tournament, F.L.A., (C.C.A.) and the County of Volusia's Port Authority.... I had to keep the name "NoBones" everyone knew me no matter what boat I was in! Now that I'm old and tired Capt. Chuck changed it to "NoBoner" ![]()

For years I mainly surf fished all over Long Island and my first name is Chris. So I put them those two together and came up with "csurf".
