I've been experiencing a weird problem with the forum for a while now. Normally, the forums with new posts are displayed in a different color and the threads with new posts are displayed in bold. But quite often lately, it all clears as though I've looked at everything and I can't tell which posts/threads I've looked at. I've stumbled across threads that were a week old that displayed as if I'd looked at them, but I hadn't even seen them yet.

Is this happening to anyone else, or is it me? I'm using Firefox, but I'm not experiencing any other issues I'm aware of.

Dave

I have no answer, however I have experienced similar things. If you use another computer and check in then you don't know what you read and when after you go back to your "regular" computer.

I've had some similar issues, but haven't noted exactly how and when the changes happen. I know that if I have multiple windows open in a single browser and leave not signing out of CSC, updated/new replaies aren't indicated. By the way, I use VISTA series of windows and don't remember opening multipule windows/tabs in a single browser in past wersions of windows, though I could open multiple browser sessions.

I will be watching more closeley and note what I find.

Thanks for the replies. I've set my login so I'm logged out each time I leave the site. I'll see how that works.

Well here is what happened today...open CSC clicked on one forum and read a post and posted a new topic. Went back to the main menu, and thought of something I needed to find on the web. Opened a new browser window (using firefox) and did my searching there. Went back to CSC( other window) and everything showed up as being read???

So if anyone has an answer please let us know.

I think this is the result of the new host for the site. It changed immediately after the switch.
