Default transom gutted and grinded.

well spent the morning grinding and i just have a small bit of wood left where the stringers blocked the grinder, going to try a sharp chisle to get in their and clean it up.

Hugo, very nice job of cleaning up the transom mess!!!! Looks like your dog has had enough of your mess....he's exiting stage left! Looks like you're moving along quite well.

Good luck!

Alright hugo. Do you work for Kelly Tractor down south? I'm just curious. I work for Pantropic in West Palm Beach. I noticed the service crane in the pics.

Good job, been there once don't want to do it again.I don't know how you southern boys do that work in the heat and humidity.I gotta hand it to you.
I did my transom and all the other stuff in new england weather and lots in the winter, and it still was miserable.

Remember the line in the movie Jaws, when Quint says "I'll never put on a life jacket again"?,
Well, that's what I say about Tyvek suits.

Sorry to stray off topic, but Hot cars!,almost as much fun as a Seacraft,I miss my 62 409 SS,and my 55 Chevy with the tricked out 283,and six(yes six)Stromberg #97 2 barrell carbs.Getting that throttle linkage to work right was a challenge.
Got pulled over by a cop for speeding,he made me open the hood, saw the six little chrome air cleaners and just shook his head, and said "you kids are nuts".He actually let me go with a verbal warning
