I have this issue as well. Right now the deck drains into the bilge and it drives me crazy. I have two bilge pumps that keep things dry down there, but knowing its not set up the way i want it is what stinks... I was thinking of putting some of those flapper type scuppers right next to/under my bracket right above the waterline. i could them run hoses from my deck drains to these flapper scuppers...maybe you could try this?
