Default TH ping pong scuppers

Does anyone have these on their 1" motor well drains ? I'm thinking about giving them a try to stop the annoying water from coming onto the deck but would like to hear some opinions from someone who has used them before I start drilling holes in the transom.

I have them on my 18SF they work fine for the two times I have been out in the boat...my scuppers are above the waterline at rest and approx 1/4 under with 2 people standing in back.

Transom was redone to 25" but motor well drains are still in stock location just like a 20"!

Mike...mine work good for me but they should not be mounted below the waterline...mounted above will work especially works good for walking to rear
