What is the problem with the 23 seacrafts from 1980 to 1990. I am new to seacraft community. I previously owned an infamous 31 bertram. I need some help looking to purchase one?

No problems unique to that era. There's wood in the transom, the deck and the cap. It could be fine, it could be mush. Except for the keel stringer, which is a glass encapsulated 2x4, the stringers have no wood. They are foam filled fiberglass boxes. If it's in good shape, it's just as good as any other era Seacraft.

Welcometo CSC,
Dave

Just a bit of information

My '78 had a glassed in 1/2 of a 4" PVC. The wood keel stringer was used in the earlier years to beef up the keel due too center roller trailers which were commonly in use before 'Float on' type bunk trailers. I don't know what contruction methods were used in the later 80's ?

Below pictures show the PVC Center stringer before & after I removed half of it.
