fuel tank
Anyone know the stock dimensions of a fuel tank to go into a '85 20 ft MA? Have a chance of getting a good deal on a 52 gal. tank that is pretty new but don't want to pull up the floor to measure my old one if possible. The tank I'm interested in is 60" length 24&1/2" wide 10" high. With consideration of brackets, total height is 11&1/2". The total depth of the tank I think is my biggest concern as I do think length and width will work.

Shit, two days ago I posted from work...
My 1979 MA has the tank pulled and in the bed of my truck. (93" L X 23" W X 8" H), pick up, sending unit and ground strap continuing present location (aft). Fill and vent relocated to forward end of 70 gallon (non-original tank) and both will be relocated (vent to fill line and vented through vertical cap) ((And yes I smoke!))to side of console for ease of filling (topping off) in the water for future use. Builders solicited will be Sunshine Tanks (?, Fla), RDS Aluminum, Perry, Fla, and Speedy tanks, Bayville, NJ. $10/gallon, plus shipping. .125 guage aluminum, then NAPA equivalent of Rhino Liner, after good scuff. Then foamed in...I know, I know. Let it fly, boys. Vezo, Part II. |

DO NOT FOAM IN !!!!!!
No air circulation under tank, impossible to remove. Install per ABYC Specifications. |
