Default Need details on '86 20ft SeaCraft

I own a 1986 20 ft SeaCraft Master angler w/a 2001 SS Yamaha 200.
Trying to figure out the history of this model SeaCraft?
Who actually manufactured it?
What was the last year the potter hull was manufactured?
Is the '86 considered one of the better years or one of the problematic years?
Some of the problems I can expect to have w/this model?
Also any pointers you all can give me would be greatly appreciated? I've had this boat for 3 years but haven't been able to do any major restoration until now.

I have an 85, SIC industries, built like a brick shithouse, i believe yours is an SIC, but makes no difference they are all pretty much built the same pre late 90's...all pretty much have the same problems with a 30 yr old wooden boat

SIC = SeaCraft Industries Corp, an outfit over in Tampa area that bought SeaCraft from Potter about 1980 when he ran out of $.
