Thanks again. Had to come home early for a pop warner practice and driving back down by car in a minute. The trip down went super easy. It was foggy but flat. I caught the canal 2 hours down from high(overslept) but flew through. Hoping for another calm morning on Sunday for the ride home. Low tide on west around 7am so that's about when I'll roll. We are right in Cataumet so 15 mins to West end!

Just a summary post. Return trip went well, flat seas and good vis. 36 gallons used on trip down at 31.3 mph avg in 2hrs.40mins and 30gal at 28- mph avg on trip home at 3hrs-. 23' Scepter with 225 Optimax. I did have the mother-in-law with us during vaca in Cataumet but refrained form lending her my lead swim fins! Good times, fluke, stripers, blues, scup!
Thanks for all the advice!
