I hear ya, but regardless of the canal and 2 bridges separating you from the rest of the world, SC's in particular seem to carry a premium on-Cape that other things, such as cars, trucks, other brand boats, etc. do not.

You obviously haven't tried to price a decent one ton work truck recently.... Or a low milage 4x4 SUV that is not a rust bucket. Its just the way it is. If you want to get a better deal, go off cape I am that guy who goes off cape and buys $600 SC hulls The same ones I could turn and sell for 2K on cape. Just the way it is.

I know of a CC that will be for sale this fall for about 9K with electronics and a solid running 150 Evinrude. VERY clean boat, new trailer, I re-cored the hatches It honestly needs NOTHING except for 'owner extras' I am also looking at a few 'builder' boats off cape to do the glass work to and sell if your interested.

Hmm, quite possibly. Might end up being a better solution.

Next time I'm wandering out to Marconi, if I see you out puttering in the driveway I'll stop by and say hi.
I saw you cruise by my house last weekend too (I live right by Town Cove). It's hard to miss that Minty Green hull. Especially when she's way up on a trailer!

I would love a 23!
We have a bunch of 23 CC's and a 23 Tsunami down at Wychmere that we take care of.
I was sold within 10 minutes of seatrial after spring commissioning.

I want something a little more easily trailer-able and store-able. A 23 would be just a bit too big. I also don't want to have to upgrade my ratty old truck.
