It was a 14ft starcraft fiberglass . . . before I cut into it Materials in 2001 were much less expensive, so maybe 2k now and a dozen weekends.

Words of experience talking right there.. Tough to hear, true to the last drop. Must be loved in a major way to justify the expense and commitment of time and labor.. Although I personally think there are a lot of different boats worthy of a rebuild. Next project might be a go fast or a cat, to each his own. I am still in love with my Wellcraft, couldn't afford not to be..
