Default 21' Seacraft mod questions

I have a 2000 model year 21' that I would like to modify in a few areas:

1.) I want to add more in deck storage, does anyone know the under-deck layout of the boat and where the fuel tank is located?

2.) The in-deck livewell fills up with water every time it rains or I wash the boat. I tried a gasket around the lip but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

Thanks for any advice.

How does the livewell drain when you want to empty it?

When the livewell is running, it drains through a fitting at the top of the baitwell. When it is below that level and I want to get all of the water out, it uses a Macerator pump at the bottom. It's a PITA to have to use the macerator just to get rain water out as it is slow and runs off the battery.

If the livewell is over your bilge I would drill a 1/2 inch hole in the bottom and use an expandable 1/2 inch rubber plug when using the livewell. then pull the plug when away from the boat. If not over the bilge, then see if you could tie a drainline into the macerator discharge line and plug the drain when the livewell is in use. Or, you could consider drilling a 1/2 inch hole in the bottom side of livewell and plugging it with an expandable plug from the inside. the water would then run out on the deck with the plug out. Good luck!

Whoops I missed the "in-deck" part. Disregard the advice about drilling a hole in the side. I think the that the first two suggestions: are viable solutions.
