How to make a transom into Fresh canvas?

I'd suggest drilling a few more holes checking the level of mush and then if wet replacing the transom wood. I filled a number of 3/8" & 1/2" holes with six10 and the stuff is great for that. No sag. taper on both ends of thru holes and taper the rest. I used a conical and a ball grinding bits. not 12 to 1 but adequate for the seal. It might be helpful to saturate the holes with some straight epoxy to penetrate and seal the wood before using the six10.
