Good score Jorge...
Hit Lowes or Home Depot and pick-up a gallon of
Rust Aide.. Usually in the garden section for removing iron stains
from concrete and the like.. Spray it on and watch those pesky stains melt away... Then spray with clear water..

Ken nice job on the restore I think that mine will not need as much and I'm not into doing so much either

I do like the keel guard and now that I see it and knowing my son it's going on

Now Do you think that the electric winch is just a little over kill?...LOL

All of my fleet have a power winch !! I know I'm old school...
No Float-On's for me...

We would launch the Whaler in the surf in Daytona Beach / Ormond Beach
because of our drive on beach...
when chasing Manta Rays for Cobia..
Had a starboard box on the tounge to hold a 12V battery to winch her
back on the trailer which is detached from the tow vehicle..
Makes life easy!

Roller Trailer + Powerwinch = No Dunked Trailer or rusted springs, axles or bearings! (And MUCH less maintenance required!) Maybe one reason my 28 year old trailer still has it's OEM springs, axles and wheels! A good roller trailer will also let you launch anywhere, anytime, even in your front yard if necessary!

Yes! I've seen two boats launched perfectly on the concrete ramp when guys disconnect the chain and winch strap before getting the boat over the water

Nice score on the little Whaler!!!
