You have to understand, NOAA looks at their hi tech models and all that delicious data that is hours or days old. They do not look out the window. Getting out of the office and over to Blue Heron bridge just is not in their frame of reference.

Trust me, I used to hang out with some of those guys when I worked on the beach and I was much better at forecasting weather changes than they were.

I like the Southern bridge. Hard to see swells with the blinding gold of mar a lago. Silly me.
Binoculars are a must for older eyes and sheep.
