Thanks for comments.
Runs nice with the 175 but in hindsight, probably should have gone with 200 Etec. Seems a bit underpowered to me but just changed props to a Merc Enertia so very curious to see if that helps. I'll let you know as soon as I can get out and run it. How did you correct my pic? Almost every time I try to post a pic from my cell phone it goes sideways even though that is not the way I took it on phone- couldn't figure out how to rotate it on here? |

When you get it dailed please post some performance numbers. I went with a etec 150 for my 18. Long term it's going to probably end up on a 20.

What year's that hull?
I didn't realize the 175/200 25" etecs are only 433 lbs. I'll have to keep that 200 in mind when my 175 opti dies. I see they come with a 1:1.85 ratio, what pitch Enertia are you running? Is it the 3 blade in the picture? |

The Enertia is a 15 pitch - yes, it's the 3 blade in the photo.
The hull is a 2000- I bought as a leftover in 2001. Yes,the E-tecs are light which was exactly why I went with one versus a four stroke- didn't want to re-up with Merc after Opti issues. Will post Etec numbers once I get going this season. Thanks! |
